JOB PURPOSE 
  • To make a significant contribution toward the delivery of commercial strategy along with helping the Commercial Manager executes the ‘Customer and Results’ element of the Balanced Score Card.
  • To provide outstanding customer service support to key stakeholders, including the Directors, Staff and Associate Trainers and to business clients, customers and delegates.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of the company’s Social Media strategy, which includes managing the business website, updating Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts, and editing and administrating Blogs, Corporate New letter and website content.
  • The design of marketing collateral such as marketing emails, advertisements and flyers to support the marketing and sales plan for the business.
  • Filming and production of video content and client testimonials.

Required Skills

  • An ability to manage and set up processes, with attention to detail and for accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact well with clients and suppliers over the phone, in writing and face to face.

We are looking for Web-content  Apprentices to join the Media College’s Marketing and Business Development team. We require new members of staff at our Centre based at The Stadium at Leigh Sports Village. We are looking to fill two posts. 
The lucky candidate will have a vital role to play in helping us achieve our mission to improve lives and economic success through education, learning and skills development. All potential applicants will be required to take part in an Assessment Centre which will take place (date to be announced). 
OVERVIEW
To work under the instruction/guidance of the Marketing Officer and Leaderships team. The post holder will provide support and assistance across various departments and project within the Marketing and Business Development team. A strong focus on the many different websites within the Expanse Groups portfolio. 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • To provide support and assistance across various departments and project within the Marketing and Business Development team.
  • To help with general project tasks; which may involve working across project management, digital and Marketing Communications
  • To offer creative input and suggestions when required
  • To prepare material for external clients and partners collating samples and visuals (etc.)
  • To upload and update websites, (etc.)
  • To handle a range of digital media, process photographs, upload videos and manage online content
  • To manage databases, keeping your datasets clean and fresh
  • To liaise with external agencies, 
  • To carry out research and analysis on behalf of team requirements, leadership team and the college
  • To attend and assist in the planning of events
  • To develop your organisational skills, formulate a content calendar, manage timelines and report on issues / trends
  • To assist in the production of marketing materials in varied formats.

Game Artist Apprentice

Artist 
As a game artist you will learn how to build and texture worlds and characters for games using industry standard 3D tools. Bring your characters to life using animation or motion capture techniques, and utilize lighting, shading and effects in modern game engines. 
You will also learn about subjects such as digital colour, style consistency, user interfaces - and of course, teamwork skills to last you a lifetime.

Desired skills

  • Skills in traditional art or media - that you know how to paint, sculpt, or design and have an understanding of perspective, value, form, function, colour, lighting, composition, etc.
  • Technical knowledge in graphics-related software - thorough understanding of a 3D application such as Maya, 3D Studio Max or Blender
  • Prior experience scripting or modding games and 3D software is also meriting
  • Basic IT skills essential
